Your most lame defeats so far.
by Rhythm.rhythm | 20/02/2010 06:43:32![]() I'm getting better each game, and thankfully I'm getting used to how much faster sc2 is than sc1. That being said, I have had some horrible, I cant believe that happened, style defeats. The first one, I created a sentry pylon near my enemies base and warped in all my units for a quick attack, a microsecond after clicking warp in on my last stalker, and spending most of my cash to <400 minerals, my challengers 8 or so reapers hopped back into my base and destroyed my nexus in about 10 seconds. I destroyed all of his buildings because his base was empty, but he lifted off his command center to an island. ..the bugger. Oh and the three cannons i had guarding my rear were useless. POP, gone. Similar stories anyone? [ Post edited by Rhythm.rhythm ] |

I have just suffered my most humbling defeat, playing as Terran vs Protoss. Funny enough, I massed an army of gargantuan proportions in the hopes of meeting my opponent in the field and engaging in glorious battle. Only to find that as I destroyed his main base he had made an army of Stalkers and Colossi who had been waiting for me to attack before simultaneously attacking both of my expansions and main base, he proceeded to destroy all of my SCVs and damage the majority of my buildings while I scrambled to defend. Eventually, I destroyed his army, left him virtually crippled, save two of his probes. The problem being that he had managed to do roughly the same to me. I had two missile turrets, a vespene gas refinery and an empty bunker left on the field. I watched as his two probes attacked my remaining buildings and finished me off.
