Hey.

I have wrath of the lich king on my battle.net account and i recently installed a new OS on the computer which wiped everything, including wow.

I'm now trying to download and install wotlk from the downloader on battle.net, but when i reach 53% i get the message "Please insert the CD labeled Wrath of the Lich King Disc {Disc}."

Now i have the discs of the game here so that ain't a problem, but when i insert the wotlk dvd and press "OK" it the box just reappear anyways. So i'm kinda stuck :(


So yea, what to do? :)

The Wrath of the Lich King DVD can be used to install the full game without the need of the prior discs. Up to version 3.0.1

We have seen some reports from Windows users where clearing out the contents of the Windows "Temp" directory has gotten users around installation errors. The folder is typically located in your Documents and Settings folder. (For example: C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Local Settings\Temp). Delete the contents of the Temp folder and then try running the installation again.
