Weird DIscoloration in StarCraft
by Lasthour1 | 06/02/2009 04:14:37![]() So, I usually run Windows Vista Home Basic, 32-Bit with Service Pack 1. But recently, I installed the beta for Windows 7 Ultimate. I overwrote my Vista partition because I went to quick, and now I'm stuck with it. So I install StarCraft and the expansion pack, and they install fine. No compatibility errors at start up. I get it started and...there's a whole bunch of weird colors on the screen. I have the latest ForceWare drivers from NVidia installed. It happens every time I start StarCraft. On VIsta, it only happened every once in a while. Sometimes, it would stay like that, but a system reboot fixed it. But no luck with 7. Can anyone tell me if I can fix this problem. Oh, and setting it for compatibility just makes it crash before the game launches. Thanks in advance. |

Issues may occur as a result of playing the game on an unsupported operating system. The color issues on other operating systems are often resolved by closing down all other programs. Also, there could be some issues with the color palette not refreshing properly. StarCraft uses 256 colors. Do the issues resolve when you alt tab? Technical support needs your feedback.
