Wc3 Can't Host pleas help
by Dragon313035 | 01/02/2009 18:28:07 Ok so I finnaly found out that you need to do some stuff with ports and other things to host games. I followed the information on this webpage: http://portforward.c and this page: http://www.friho Then I went on B net asked a random guy to try and join one of my games. He finds it but he said it just froze when he tried to join it. Then I installed Auto Refresh to see if that will help but it didnt help much. Then I asked another guy and he didnt see it. Any way im stuck what should i do cause im very anoyed right now. My modem is an actiontec gt701wg. My comp is Windows Xp. Also if it helps any the modem has something called DMZ hosting it says it will help with online gameing and such but it says theres a risk of outside intrusion. But Please help. |

If you have ever had a firewall on your computer that you uninstalled please go to the website of its developer and see if they have a removal tool. Many popular firewalls will leave remnants when they are uninstalled and the developers provide tools to address these issues. This may include any trials for the firewall. For direct assistance with your networking hardware you may need to contact the manufacturers of that hardware. If you provide them with the ports and programs they should be able to walk you through configuring the hardware to allow a connection. Also, remember that with port forwarding you should also set your computer to a static IP address so that the data goes to the proper location. Technical support needs your feedback.
