The Warcraft III 2009 Tournament is now live. We’ve reset the Battle.net open Warcraft III ladder to even the playing field, and the top 100 players from each region will have the chance to join the fray on the invitational ladder. Additionally, the top 20 eligible participants at the end of each region’s invitational ladder will receive a StarCraft II beta key. For more information about the 2009 Tournament please see our FAQ. Sponsor shall invite the top one hundred (100) players from the [US], the top one hundred (100) from the [EU] and the top one hundred (100) players from the [Korean] Gateways to compete in the Ladder Contest who are the top ranked players in their respective regions as of March 27, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. PDT

The invitational ladder will then be from April 3rd to 24th 2009.
