I've been playing my games with all settings on maximum, full screened, etc. etc. for close to three days now. Today after getting my 2v2 ranking and taking a break, I come back to close to 1-3 fps on the same settings I was getting 30+ on only hours ago.

I've tried restarting the computer, checking the drivers, even downclocking the components thinking heat may have been the issue. So far, no resolution to my problems. Manually controlling the fan and resetting the non-default 3D setting in my nvidia control panel also proved nothing.

Specs:
Intel Q6600 2.4 GHz OC'd to 3.25 GHz currently
EVGA nVidia 9800 GTX+; stock speeds
8 Gigs of DDR2 @ 800 MHz stock (Don't know the current speed off hand)
ASUS P5Q mobo
24" LCD @ 1920x1200

If anyone can shed some light onto the issue, it would be much appreciated.
