Unable to connect with vista
by Redn5th | 13/02/2009 02:23:29 i have a desktop xp that i can get on battle.net with diablo 2 but on my vista laptop i get the unable to connect to battle.net error when i go to get on any help???? |
by Lucytr | 13/02/2009 02:45:45 Hi, Redn5th, I think a DNS flush will help you out here. For Vista: 1. Click Start, then Run. 2. Type in CMD. When you see the command prompt come up, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator." 3. When the window comes up, type in the following in succession, all without the quotes: "ipconfig /release" press Return "ipconfig /renew" press Return "ipconfig /flushdns" press Return 4. Plug them back in modem first, then the router. 4. Reboot your computer. The universe is already insane. Anything else would be redundant.
