"Unable to connect to battle.net" Diablo II
by Shoutx69 | 21/02/2009 01:31:46![]() I have tried running all suggestions by blizzard and their diagnostic tool because I am unable to connect to us west or us east but I am able to connect to Europe and Asia. I have played the game online very briefly, and just went and bought the game to play with my little brother who recently installed the game on his computer. My brother admittedly had tried using CD keys off a random website and eventually I had to buy the game for him because none of them worked but the game worked for a short time after I bought him it so idk what to do. When I ran the diagnostic test it said my ip was banned but than it randomly says it is successful in establishing a connection on occasion. If my ip is banned is there anyway to lift it early or find out how long the ban is for, from my understanding they can last up to 2 weeks which would suck :(? edit: I can't connect to us west or east but i can connect to asia/eu [ Post edited by Shoutx69 ] |
by Lucytr | 21/02/2009 01:57:34![]() Your connection has been temporarily restricted from Battle.net. This restriction is realm-specific and can last up to 2 weeks. It can happen for any of the following reasons: - Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net - Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs" - By the use of "add-on programs" - Chat channel abuse - Failed login attempts - In game latency caused by excessive spell effects We are unable to lift these restrictions early or tell exactly why the restriction was placed on your connection. The universe is already insane. Anything else would be redundant. Click Here to take survey and let me know how I'm doing! https:// |
