I agree that the error you're receiving would indicate a temporary restriction (I'm showing restrictions on USEast & USWest), but your trace route shows something much more crucial to this. You're getting packet loss on every single hop, and that's just not good.

I would start by powercycling the network you're using. Unplug everything and let it sit unpowered for 3-5 minutes. Then, power it up the same way the signal comes into the house. Modem -> Router -> Computer. Don't start the next device until the last one has completely started up.

If that doesn't clear up the packet loss, try flushing your DNS:

For XP:

1. Click Start, then Run.
2. Type in CMD
3. When the command prompt comes up type in the following in succession, all without the quotes:

"ipconfig /release" press Return
"ipconfig /renew" press Return
"ipconfig /flushdns" press Return

4. Close the DOS window and try WoW.

For Vista:

1. Click Start, then Run.
2. Type in CMD. When you see the command prompt come up, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator."
3. When the window comes up, type in the following in succession, all without the quotes:

"ipconfig /release" press Return
"ipconfig /renew" press Return
"ipconfig /flushdns" press Return

4. Close the DOS window and try WoW.

If you're still unable to connect to either Asia or Europe, post me another trace, please. Thanks!

Billythedummy ,

The IP address you're posting from was recently used to violate the Battle.net Terms of Use Agreement - http://www.battle.net/tou.shtml. The most common cause for this is connecting to Battle.net with an illegal CD-Key, followed by spamming the chat channels, use of flood or load bots, harassing another user, and/or the use of a third party program(s).

The IP address has warranted a lengthy restriction and will not be able to access Battle.net (Northrend) for another 2 weeks and Lordaeron for 3 days.

Billythedummy ,

It's back on a 2 week restriction again. Either you or someone sharing your IP address is breaking the rules somewhere. To be restricted that quickly would suggest someone is connecting from a computer that used an illegal cd-key to install one the games.
