Unable to connect to Azeroth US East
by Simulacra | 27/08/2009 17:30:18![]() After patching Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne to 1.24b Tuesday night, August 25, 2009, I played a few AT games without issue. As of yesterday afternoon, August 26, however, I am unable to connect to Azeroth US East as I receive a message stating "Unable to connect to Battle.net. You may be trying to connect to an invalid Battle.net server. If you are using a modem, you may need to manually connect to the internet before connecting to Battle.net." I am able to connect to Lordaeron, Northrend, and Kalimdor, but not Westfall. I cannot see why I would be temporarily restricted as I am absolutely certain I have not violated any terms of use, and nobody uses my account but me. If I am temporarily restricted however, I would appreciate to be made aware of it and if possible why. [ Post edited by Simulacra ] |
by Lucytr | 28/08/2009 00:23:55![]() Hi, Simulacra, Your connection has been temporarily restricted from Battle.net. This restriction is realm-specific and can last up to 2 weeks. It can happen for any of the following reasons: - Using an invalid CD key - Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net - Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs" - By the use of "add-on programs" - Chat channel abuse - Failed login attempts - In game latency caused by excessive spell effects We are unable to lift these restrictions early or tell exactly why the restriction was placed on your connection. All knowledge is worth having. Click Here to take survey and let me know how I'm doing! https:// |
