by Rider[1.13] | 04/04/2010 21:56:40![]() You banned my IP 36 hrs ago for MISTAKENLY putting wrong CD-KEY number after installing my d2 on my comp and thus disabling me from play for paid game. Thats unfair for someone who has static IP. Ban CD-KEYS then to people who have resetable IPs to be fair to all your clients ;/ |
by Charlesps | 05/04/2010 02:44:26![]() Hello Rider[1.13] There is a restriction on the connection you use to reach Battle.net. That means that this connection was detected violating the terms of use in one of the manners described below. - Spamming text in the chat channel (often associated with bots) - Repeated attempts to use an invalid CD-Key - Repeated use of third-party programs (hacks) these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs Restrictions of this nature can last form several days up to two weeks. This restriction has 7 days left. Technical support does not have access to the reason a specific restriction was put in place and We do not have the ability to remove the restriction. The only thing I can recommend is trying to connect every couple of days to see if the restriction has lifted. Please be aware that it would take more than one character on the CD-Key being entered incorrectly in order for this to occur. The incorrect CD-Key would have to work with the installer which would mean multiple numbers would have to be entered incorrectly and still work with the program that checks validity during the install of the game.
