Looking at the fights and some discussions on the beta forums on spawn larvae, and most people either having a love hate relationship with it, just throwing out food for thought;

Warpgates have a shortcut/notifaction on screen for inactive gates.
Zerg do not notify you when the extra larvae pop and you can res...spit/stab your base again.
Why not have a notification for the time on it? you get a few pings or just voiceover "We've spawned more larvaez!"

Looking at it, seems to m,uch of a jugglers nightmare, multiple bases, multiple queens, no idea if its poped or not, gotta micro armies, check defenses, etc.

While warpgates are just ooh I need guys there *teleports*

Spawn larvae is not the same thing as Warp Gates. The correct comparison should be Chrono Boost and Spawn Larvae, and you don't get any notification for Chrono Boosts :)
