i was wondering if Diablo 3 would feature some sort of inventory sharing system or something that can perform the same function.

as an example, lets say i wish to transfer a good item meant for/usable by the witch doctor, which i found while playing the barbarian, yet the witch doctor is on the same account, therefore i must get a friend to hold it, or risk leaving it on the ground in a public game. which(in my experience) can lead to your supposed friend ripping you off, or someone picking it up in the public game causing severe frustration, etc. etc.

long story short - would there be a system that is, or may be implemented to bypass this pain in the butt?

No update, it's something we hope to do, it's not designed or in any sort of implementation phase so until we reach that point and either hit a revelation of it working or not we won't know for sure. But yes, still hope to have some sort of easy way to share between characters. "Drop games are dumb." - Bashiok
