Screen off center
by Curiousgrugg.ms | 07/03/2010 23:55:27![]() Okay, maybe I'm stupid, but I can't figure this out. Whenever I start the game, everything is off center, so e.g. the SC2 logo appears in the bottom right of the screen instead of the middle. I tried changing the resolution of my monitor, and I still get this problem. I also tried changing the in-game resolution, but I don't think I actually can, because I can't see a "Save Changes" or "Okay" button on the graphics option screen. I assume there's such a button on the right or bottom side, but I can't see it (obviously) because the screen is cut off. So the only way to leave the graphic options menu is to hit escape, which doesn't save any of the changes I just made. How the balls am I supposed to fix this? |
by Charlesps | 08/03/2010 00:27:29![]() Hello Curiousgrugg Follow the steps below: 1. Open your "Documents" 2. Find the Starcraft II folder in this folder and open it 3. Look for a file named Variables.txt, double click on this file to open it. Locate the lines: The file should contain many different settings saved in alphabetical order. The lines you will need to find are the following: height= refreshrate= width= Set the numbers for these lines to match your system display setup, for example: height=768 refreshrate=60 width=1024 Now save the file and try launching the game again.
