So I got my SC2 beta key from Gamestop yesterday and got it on my account and everything. But once I get the blizzard dowloader to come up it doesn't start downloading and it says "tracker is not responding". Also where the starcraft2 picture would be instead is a blank white page that says "Navigation to the website was canceled". I went to the troubleshooting page it sends me to and tried to open the necessary ports and also close the backround applications but that doesn't work. I tried to re-download my warcraft III game and had the same problem which is weird because I downloaded it just a few months ago, so I don't know what's changed in the intervening time. Please help I want to play starcraft 2!!!

Were the ports opened in the router or your firewall?

The navigation canceled is sort of a clue that it is not strictly a port issue. That function works more like a webpage which means it shoudl be using port 80 and since you can come here odds are port 80 is not blocked.

so what we may be looking at is the need to add exceptions for the tracker to your firewall. These exceptions should require adding the name of the program to a list of allowed programs in the firewall.
