When i got into the starcraft 2 beta i was super pumped to play it, since iv been playing iv had huge lag issues that result in 5-10 sec lag spikes and the game stalling.. this happens about 5-10 times a game... at first i thought it was a hardware issue but i meet the mim reqs. for the game i know and when my settings were defaulted they where medium so i know i could play it. after lagging so much i changed all my settings to low, along with setting my video card basics to performance as well in hopes to fix the issue.

still lagging after that i thought maybe network issue, but i have the ports i need opened and am not getting lag on any other game except sc2. Im able to run WoW on high settings and i dont even lag like this (Even with ventrilo in the backround my ping never had a issue..Or when in 25 man raids and the animations of the raid my Video card never had a issue)

I also know this isnt a temp issue because i got creative and used a table fan to cool my comptuer maintaining a constant 34-40 C temp during game play.

Long story short: Can any one help me figure out why im getting these huge lag spikes that are terrible and cost me the game many of times.
