Restricted?
by Octavian | 29/04/2010 10:04:34![]() Is there a way to find out if I have been restricted? whenever I try to log onto battle.net i get the message that i may need to connect with my internet service provided. My internet works fine (obviously since I'm posting here), I've tried port forwarding, i've tried turning off all firewalls, nothing works. I can get on when I connect through my schools internet but I'm wondering if that's just because my IP is different there and my home IP has been restricted. any help? |
by Charlesps | 30/04/2010 01:32:11![]() Hello Octavian There is a restriction on the connection you use to reach Battle.net. That means that this connection was detected violating the terms of use in one of the manners described below. - Spamming text in the chat channel (often associated with bots) - Repeated attempts to use an invalid CD-Key - Repeated use of third-party programs (hacks) these include but are not limited to sending bad packets, flooding the server(s), and the use of hack programs Restrictions of this nature can last form several days up to two weeks. There are 4 days left on this restriction. Technical support does not have access to the reason a specific restriction was put in place and We do not have the ability to remove the restriction. The only thing I can recommend is trying to connect every couple of days to see if the restriction has lifted. Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing: https:// |
