Red Outlines are GONE!

Got Fresh Meat?
It's a scientific community, man

Cannibalism? Racism? Dude, that’s not for us ... those decisions are better left to the suits in Washington. We’re just here to eat some dude!

Retracted. We have no plans to make the focus outline an option.

Q u o t e:
I thought Mr. Wilson was very adamant about that?
Do you mean toggle like lower it a bit, thin out the line, or remove it?
I like it...just think it is a wee bit thick.

Right now, if you disable it there's still a faint red rim light used to communicate focus. I'll have to follow up, hopefully I didn't just say something incorrect... But I believe the intent is to default to the more apparent outline, and allow people to toggle it if they prefer a more subtle approach.

I am probably in the minority of such a vocal group but I actually LOVE the red outline as was shown, I did not want to enforce my personal tastes on everyone so I was OK with compromising on a thinner, more subtle outline. BUT since it seems to be toggle-able between "normal" and subtle I just wanted to ask to leave that thick red outline as was seen do not move a nanometre I really liked how it worked out and looked, I like the thickness, the tone of red, everything.

I really don't even notice it, it's just a part of the game to me. I'm glad you like it though, it definitely serves an important purpose.

Yeah, but you are probably more accustomed to it than us Bash, what with playing every week? and all :P

I am sure that once we start playing it will just merge nicely with the automatic recognition patterns of our gameplay brain functions ;)

Yeah, I mean it's weird how things stick out in screenshots and while you're playing it totally just doesn't even occur to you with so many things going on at once. Which is why I think it's a useful tool. I can be watching my health meter closely and be able to see I'm targeting something in my peripheral.
