I have been experiencing the problem of random shut downs while playing the game always within about 5 minutes. I do not know if the computer is over heating or not, but I do know it has not done this for any other game.

Not all power supplies are created equal. Is it the stock HP power supply? Can you post the +12v details from the back of the power supply?
