Hey, my first post. The beta has been working great for me apart from one continuous problem.

During any kind of game I will occasionally get random freezes. These freezes last about 2-5 seconds. I experience no other forms of lag, just these freezes and when they happen all players experience it (With a pop up that says Im the one thats lagging).

At first I thought it was an issue with my internet. I restarted my router and ran some network monitoring software on my secondary screen. My internet continues to run smoothly with no spikes or drops even during each freeze.

So this coupled with the fact that these freezes occur during what I assume to be times that are heavy on the system. (Multiple events occurring, large commands issued, buildings completed, etc) has lead me to believe this is a system based problem.

Reducing all settings to low has not solved the problem. The problem continues in exactly the same way on any of the low-high gfx settings.


My system specs are:
# Operating system: Windows XP
# CPU type: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500
# CPU Speed (GHz): 2.2
# System memory (GB): 2
# Graphics card model: ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series


The CPU speed I know isnt that great, other specs I would assume are fine though. I also tried defragmenting my harddrive in case it was having trouble loading fragmented starcraft files. This did not help the problem ether.
