I was wondering if anyone knew if Baneling splash damage effect allies?

E.g. You have Zerglings attacking an enemy and then you bring banelings in to help, do your Zerglings take damage from the Banelings? What if allies were attacking and you helped with Banelings? Does your ally take damage?

Second question is; if a Baneling is destroyed, does it die as if it was attacking and suisided or does it just die with no AOE damage?

I can confirm you that exploding Banelings do not damage allied units: both your units and those of your allies are not affected at all by the acid explosion.

Reaper's explosive charge does actually damage allies, as well as your own units and buildings, so be careful when playing with those flashing packages.
