Profile being affected by another person...

I have already posted a response in the account issues, but I thought this was sufficiently informative as to warrant its own post:

Just as many others have reported, I have seen cases where when I sign on, I see someone else's profile. The same has obviously happened to someone else where they see my profile, because I am seeing matches in my history that I did not play (I use an authenticator and I've given my password to no one, so this isn't a case of hijacking).

These matches that I did not play are all 2v2s. They all contain one person the same throughout them all. The name is Jace. I can't see the identifier. What is even stranger is that when I look in the leagues & ladders view in the friends section, under 2v2 Random (which I have not myself played), I see Jace, who I have attempted to add as a friend so as to see the identifier. Stranger yet, when I click on Jace to see more information in this view, I see my own profile!

So this database corruption is far from random in its occurrence. I show a clear linking of my account with someone else's, which is absolutely strange. Basically, his 2v2 Random games are showing up in my profile. And given that whenever I attempt a placement match in the 1v1 ladder my count of 5 matches does not change, I can guarantee those matches are showing up on his record.

This is strange! Please look into my account and/or reset it for real.

Hello Kyrus

You will want to keep the posts in that other thread as that is the one we are using to track and investigate these issues.

The technical support forums are primarily designed to address issues that can be resolved by client side changes so we need to keep the other types of issues in one place.

Thanks for posting in that thread. That is the best way to get this issue noticed by those investigating it.

Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing:
