I keep getting this message i have uninstalled the game and tried to reinstall the game so many times now and yet keeping getting this message. I have done the extended memory test someone told me to do and it came up clean.

I don't know what to do anymore I don't have 2 hours to waste everytime i try to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Another program maybe interfering with the patch. Try selective startup to get around this.

For Windows Vista and 7 users:

Click Start and in the "Start Search" field type "msconfig" and hit Enter.
In the General tab:

1. Choose Selective Startup
2. Disable (uncheck) Load startup items
3. Click OK and Reboot

Windows XP users:

Click Start and select Run, then type "msconfig" and click OK.
In the General tab:

1. Choose Selective Startup
2. Disable (uncheck) Load startup items
3. Click OK and Reboot

Then try patching the game again.
