Outbidding the competitor...

I just had a brain fart about the new RMAH, lets consider the following scenario...

  • I finally create item "SEXY SWORD" and everyone wants "SEXY SWORD" because it is, well you know...sexy....

  • I go to the Auction House and place "SS (not stormshield you noobs)" but "SEXY SWORD" for let say $50

  • Of course 3 people immediately bid on "SS" because it is the greatest in the DIABLO universe.

  • Myself on my super secret second account or commonly known as my (SSSA) bid on the item pushing its price up.

  • Out of those 3 people 1 maybe 2 are likely to want "SS" really badly because you know its "SS", therefore we keep bidding and I bid agasint them on my OWN item (incredible right?)

  • I have succesfully pushed my item up lets say $100 through this ingenuitive method, I mean bidding wars are intense especially for rare stuff.

  • (ok in all honesty the numbers are obviously made up, the item name I am not so sure but I hope you guys can see what I am getting at in this scenario)

My question is, this will probably become common practice for various items, would this be considered scamming? Would it be viable or allowed? Does blizz condone such actions?
