On Unique Monster Deaths
by Friskydingo | 25/02/2010 06:34:11![]() As we have seen in Blizzcon and the Death Panels, when a unique dies he explodes in glorious fashion. While Im all for explosions and what not, Jay stated they want it to show the effect that this monster was very powerful and full of dark energy. I feel a mere explosion which topples others is not quite the best way to show the death of a unique monster. There is already tons of explosions in the game, I feel they should be set apart some other way insted of making it bigger. For instance.. a fire enhanced monster could have swirls of fire coming in torwards him when he sort of "Implodes." This could be good for any elemental enhanced type of unique, and gives a much better feeling of dark energies stored within them making them much more powerful. Feel free to suggest other death types for special enhancements on monsters or to say they like the "LOL JUST BIGGER EXPLOSION" method currently used (As far as we know) Boosh and or KaKoW I'm going to find it and I'm going to destroy it. I don't know how yet. Possibly with dynamite. Every Week: D2 Ironman Tournament - Wednesday 8:00(CST) Channel BooSH UsE |

This already occurs with rares if they have an elemental enhancement. If they have a cold affix; when they die it's sort of like watching a tiny ice planet implode. It's almost exactly as you described. |
