No trading support for D2 Asia?
by Elethiomel | 04/02/2009 03:51:34 I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong forum - none seemed a perfect fit. I played D2 extensively for years on the Europe realm back in the early 2000s. In 2003 I moved to New Zealand and spent some time without a computer and a net connection, hence no more D2. When the urge to play again presented itself a few years later all my previous accounts had long since expired and my social contacts were 12 time zones away. So in an attempt to establish new contacts I chose a new realm which matched more closely with my current time zone; Asia. This, as it turns out, may have been a mistake. My play time over the last few years has been sporadic (mostly due to time spent playing WoW) still I have managed to amass a few 85+ characters and a half-decent collection of items. However, now that I'm playing more frequently I have hit a brick wall in my attempts to trade for items within the Asia community. Firstly, the vast majority of the users have a very tentative grasp of the English language and most of my requests go unanswered. I suspect they're Korean. Secondly, none of the forums and community websites I frequent (including Battle.net) support trade on Asia in any way. The only ones I have been able to find that do appear to be of suspect nature and I would rather not associate myself with them. My request therefore is twofold; 1. Is there an official trading resource available for the Asia realm (in English), and 2. Failing this, is it in any way possible to transfer accounts to a different server? I suspect my options are more in line of A. Suck it up or B. Start over again on a different server, but it can't do me any harm to ask. |

No trading is actually supported and any trades made are done at the end users risk. We are not able to restore lost items regardless of the circumstances behind there loss. Regarding the transferring of accounts. Unfortunately this is not a service we are able to provide. Accounts and characters are linked tot he realm they were created on and can not be moved.
