New Nvidia Drivers not working properly.
by Grandkinz.scf | 04/03/2010 06:37:04![]() I just downloaded the New Nvidia Geforce Driver 196.75 Windows 7 64 bit version. Well, as soon as I start up Starcraft 2 the game begins to flicker on and off. It just keeps doing this every second or so until the game just crashes. I guess I'll have to resort to my previous drivers to play the game still, but can this be fixed? Thanks, Kirk. |

The card can start overheating and will cause graphical issues or cause it to throttle in speed. It depends on what temperatures it is hitting. Tech Support http://t (not recommended) https:// |
by Datth | 04/03/2010 20:44:25![]() Those screens are when the rendering engine isn't bogged down by game mechanic and logic so it just draws stuff at full speed. It only takes a fraction of a second for a device to start overheating. Odd stuff happens when a GPU overheats. Some may produce artifacts, some may flicker, some may outright crash (the video card won't send signals but the computer will still be on an "on" state) and some may start doing GPU recovery errors.
