Mac Issues with Making Games
by Elvenmaster1 | 01/02/2010 09:15:55![]() I recently downloaded the digital copy of Starcraft onto my mac. I patched it to the current 1.16.1 version via instructions. I can connect to battle.net and join channels and talk to people and even create games and join games. My problem comes that whenever we enter into a game I get dropped immediately from the game and it pops up with the request for a "draw". I have opened my router ports and disabled the firewall for these ports. Computer Info: MAC Intel Dual Core 2 RAM: 2GB OS: Snow Leopard Internet: Wired Ethernet connection Router: Linksys (ports have been set for starcraft) ISP: comcast (don't disconnect from battle.net just when i start a game and its always immediately) Any help would be awesome thanks. |

You may need to reboot after removing the software. If that fails, power cycle your network devices. 1. Unplug your modem and router (if you have one.) 2. Let them set for 30-60 seconds. 3. Plug them back in modem first, then the router. 4. Reboot your computer. 5. Test SC. Now, if both of these fail, you'll need to flush the DNS. 1. Navigate to /Applications/Uti 2. Copy/Paste the following: For Leopard (10.5): dscacheutil -flushcache For Tiger (10.4) and Panther (10.3): lookupd -flushcache 3. Press return. 4. Test SC. Please, let me know if this works or not. Thanks! All knowledge is worth having. Click Here to take survey and let me know how I'm doing! https:// |
