This is what I get when I try to install the patch:

This patch upgrades Diablo II Lord of Destruction from version 1.12a to version 1.13c.

ERROR: unable to open archive 'C:\Documents and Settings\Hamzeh Auto Sales\Desktop\D2pvp\D2PvP\d2exp.mpq'

RESULT: Patch failed

It's also possible your file has been altered or is corrupt, and you may need to reinstall. But that's a question for the technical support forum.
