I keep dropping out of games and all my settings are on LOW

AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual
Core Processor 6400+
3.21ghz, 3.5 GB of RAM

NVidia GeForce 8500gt 512mb

My computer is a few years old, but figured I could run it on low but it seems not. I would say I drop out of 1-2 games out of every 10. Could I upgrade the video card and leave the processor and run the game on med-high?

The minimum system requirements for StarCraft II Beta are as follows:

- You must have a valid e-mail address and internet connection for registration.
- To play on Battle.net, your computer will need an active Broadband Internet connection.

Your issue actually sounds like a connection issue. Are you by any chance using a wireless connection? If so, try wired.

Make sure your system isn't overheating. Be sure to clear out any dust, especially around your video card and make sure there is proper circulation in your system.
