IP Banned?
by Alice260 | 14/10/2009 11:13:54![]() Hello, I was recently IP banned on my desktop today around the approximate time rage of 9 or 10 o'clock (it's 3:59 AM in the next day now.) However, there has been no e-mail sent out by blizzard yet and this is the second time this has happened (the first being a few days ago for 20 minutes out of the blue while playing a Starcraft game.) I have the belief that it is warden that is doing this, but I still haven't recieved an e-mail either time disclosing as to why I was ip banned to be sure. And yes, I did register my e-mail on this account. It was fun and games annoying when warden randomly boots you off starcaraft (and no I don't, and never have, used any suspicious 3rd-party programs, stress the server with /freinds list or other related commands, or break any battle.net rules) but now it's down right annoying to have no idea why you got kicked off for no apparent reason, not even an e-mail after days and days for the first time. Please respond to this post or send an e-mail (blizzard) in accord to this technical difficulty. Also I would like to note this is the account that the IP ban has taken place, BOTH times. Thank you for your time and patience everyone. [Note that this was on Azeroth or USEast.] Sincerly, Alice260 [ Post edited by Alice260 ] |
by Lucytr | 15/10/2009 01:34:37![]() Your connection has been temporarily restricted from Battle.net. This restriction is realm-specific and can last up to 2 weeks. It can happen for any of the following reasons: - Using an invalid CD key - Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net - Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs" - By the use of "add-on programs" - Chat channel abuse - Failed login attempts - In game latency caused by excessive spell effects We are unable to lift these restrictions early or tell exactly why the restriction was placed on your connection.
