I was IP banned recently. I emailed Blizzard several times to figure out the reason and found out that it was because I was using an invalid CD key to log into USEAST.

My CD Key is far from invalid. I'm able to log into Battle.net just fine with my CD key, so I'm a bit confused as to how any of this happened. Has this ever happened to you and how do I prevent it from happening again? I'm just trying to figure out how this is possible considering I didn't do anything wrong...

No one within Blizzard can say with absolute certainty what causes the restriction, which by the way, is not on the connection you're using to post in here. That much I can say with 100% certainty. Are you posing from the connection you normally use to play? If you are, please, email me at forumtech@blizzard.com so we can troubleshoot carefully.
