Why on earth would Blizzard lock that SC2 innovation thread down the forum. I thought the beta was meant for Blizzard to get feedback from people playing the game, and if this isn't feedback I don't know what is.

We shouldn't have to limit these forums to exclusive balance feedback because there are many other facets of the game that are important to people. I for one am disappointed by the lack of innovation in SC2 and it is a little disturbing that Blizzard which has tweaked RTS games with the utmost skill in the past has put out this piece that lacks any outstanding advancements.

I understand the people who want BW2, but to me at least, and many others, I would imagine would like something inventive coming out of Blizzard. You don't have to alter the entire game, but jeez, other than cliff walking, as was mentioned in the locked thread, there isn't much to show for advancement in this game whatsoever.

Blizzard needs to realize how they got such an esteemed reputation and make this game one that will wow us instead of an old game with updated graphics.
