i dont play World of Warcraft but i do know my Battle.net account has a World of Warcraft account which is just recently been added to my manage games since i guess i have merge my account with it. I dont know anything about World of Warcraft and this is the first time i got some mails from them, so i suspect this is fake but even though i dont care about World of Warcraft im quite worried if it affects my Battle.net account which consist of my games here in blizzard.

What should i do?

Hi, Bosski

As the other posters have stated, this is most definitely a scam.

Please ALWAYS keep the following in mind:

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=965511383#0:
REMEMBER: Blizzard employees will NEVER ask for your password.

These e-mails are not from Blizzard. All account actions and inquiries will have the return address of WoWaccountadmin@blizzard.com; these phishing e-mails, in most cases have the return address of something close that may be overlooked if you are not paying close attention like: blizzzd.com.

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=965511383&;pageNo=2#34:
Should Account Administration take action against an account, they will simply do so. They will not send emails requesting any kind of verification, and a Blizzard Employee will never request your password. Finally, Account Administration will typically only contact an account owner via the email address registered to the account, and will not request this information either.

It is essential that you refrain from following links to a potential 'spoof' Account Management page, and please never enter your information should you do so. You should only ever enter your information in Account Management after following a link from our official website itself; not even the forums.

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=965511383&;pageNo=2#37:
As always, we will never tell you that we suspect you of violating our Terms of Use or EULA. Either the account has been found in violation or it hasn't. If it has appropriate penalties will be applied and it is up to the account holder to contact our Account Administration Department to dispute the penalties.

All knowledge is worth having.
