Help! Unable to Connect? What the heck???
by Blade1990 | 04/09/2009 17:43:36![]() Okay, so I basically just built myself a new computer and put a fresh copy of Vista onto it instead of XP which is what I had before on my old computer. Yesterday I reinstalled Diablo II and Lord of Destruction as well as upgrading to the latest patch. Last night I got onto my account in USEast for a good hour or two. However, when I click the Battle.Net button I get the following message: UNABLE TO CONNECT UNABLE TO CONNECT TO BATTLE.NET If using a modem, you may need to contact your internet service provider before connecting to Battle.Net. For more information please visit www.Battle.net/suppo What gives? I connected fine last night. :'( I never had this problem before when I use to play. Also I'm on a Cable modem connection :P [ Post edited by Blade1990 ] "I am a question to the world, not an answer to be heard" |
by Lucytr | 04/09/2009 18:33:45![]() Hi, Blade1990, Your connection has been temporarily restricted from Battle.net. This restriction is realm-specific and can last up to 2 weeks. It can happen for any of the following reasons: - Using an invalid CD key - Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net - Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs" - By the use of "add-on programs" - Chat channel abuse - Failed login attempts - In game latency caused by excessive spell effects We are unable to lift these restrictions early or tell exactly why the restriction was placed on your connection. All knowledge is worth having. Click Here to take survey and let me know how I'm doing! https:// |
