Healing and Diablo? Can they coexist?
by Skyamerico | 10/03/2010 20:07:53![]() First of all I would like to say that I love the fact that there isn't a HEALING class or even a HEALING SPEC in Diablo. IMO this is one of the best things in this game. But on another hand healing is a very important thing in order to make longer, more complex and more skill based fights (Co-op PvM and PvP). I would love to see some sort of healing or damage reduction skills in diablo. I would like to share some ideas that I had that IMO fit the classes in Diablo. Of course those ideas must be improved, I am just giving a general idea. Barbarian - "Reduces Damage SHOUT" - A shout that reduces all the damage taken by the party by X% for Y seconds. Witch Doctor - "A drain life swarm spell" - A swarm that does AOE damage and in the same time heals the party for X% of that damage. Wizard - " A time controling spell" - A spell that "heals" the character in a diferent way. The way would be restoring all the damage that he took in the last X seconds. (This was the only idea that I got to a wizard healing spell that goes with the characteristic of the character). Monk - "A holy finish move" - This finish move would heal a selected party member or do a huge amount of damage on an undead NPC. I believe that with those type of "healing" spell blizzard would be able to develop more strategic and more complex challenges and improve a lot the PvP experience. P.S: If you don't agree with that please tell me why [ Post edited by Skyamerico ] |

And we'll certainly have some of them. What we don't want though is a situation where you'd say "Ok just sit back and keep us healed." Everyone should be fighting, everyone should be DPS, and the buffs and bonuses that come from certain classes should simply be situational and/or beneficial "icing on the cake". sink your teeth into the flesh of midnight night forever more, let them see it has begun |
