Graphic card is overheating
by Lilith.leona | 10/03/2010 21:52:40![]() Well, I just got a new System, but somehow it always crashes when i play starcraft 2 for longer then 10 minutes. I got an Processor: i7 920 on a 1366 socket RAM: 6G DDR3 RAM card: Nvidia GFX295 Some seperate case fan as well. I always get an alarm of my heat sensors starting at midgame, that graphic card is overheating, by about 65 up to 70 celsius. Then the system shuts down for overheating protection. First I changed everything down from ultra, to high, then to medium, nothing happened, always the same problem. Then I switched the resolution down, now it appears to work without restarting, but its still pretty hot. I just ran some Benchmark tests on the system and everything seems to be okay. Could this be a problem with the game? I cant imagine, that this system cant take that game into high-res prefences... thank you very much for your help, i really do appreciate it! |
