Gamescom Announcement: Why?
by Oreo86 | 17/08/2010 04:20:24![]() This has been bugging me lately. Why would Blizzard choose to make a significant announcement at Gamescom when Blizzcon is only 2 months away? Wouldn't it fit their track record to just hold off on the announcement until their own convention? They could have done this at other conventions further away from Blizzcon, but they remained quiet. After months of mostly silence regarding D3's development. Something about this just doesn't make sense to me. The only conclusion I can come up with is that they realized they had a ton of information they were going to be presenting at Blizzcon and decided to move one of the announcements up a few months. That seems awfully optimistic though, so it's not sitting well with me. Perhaps the announcement is something very underwhelming and they felt like throwing the fans some scraps? I don't know. I am perplexed. What do you all think? Is there something I overlooked? [ Post edited by Oreo86 ] |
