Game won't start...
by Rykimaruh.ryk | 06/03/2010 18:23:43![]() So i downloaded the game, installed it and then I was able to play. I exited the game and restarted a few hours later and when it loads and goes to the login screen it crashes and says "Starcraft II stopped working". So I can't even start the game at all since it crashes. I uninstalled it the first time and reinstalled it. It worked fine, then when I exit, it crashes again. I run a Win7 64 bit OS, so I don't know if this is a compatibility issue or what. Anyone has ideas? UPDATE: Well, since most of you won't bother going to page 2 I'll put my update here. Anyways... I just found the solution to my problem. Apparently when you play placement matches for the first time it downloads some addon or something(I haven't played these matches since saturday so I guess that's why). After I had my games I exited and wanted to try to relaunch and it work prefectly. LOL wow, so much trouble for just a small thing. Anyways...I'm glad this is over. Bumping this for those who have the same problem. [ Post edited by Rykimaruh.ryk ] |

If that doesn't help, can you also post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool: Click on Start Click on Run Type in: dxdiag (type dxdiag in the search field) Hit Enter or OK Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste the first half of the dxdiag file (down to the "DirectShow Filters" section) into your reply. Visit your motherboard manufacturer's website and download and install the latest drivers. Technical Support 7 days a week! I'm not available Sunday/Monday http://w Rate me here: https:// |
