Game Loading Problems

Airraid.materia

For some reason, sometimes when I try to open up SC2 the screen goes black just showing my tool bar and just never loads. When I ctrl alt delete SC2 sometimes it just doesn't even close it and it's just frozen. What I'm currently doing is opening up World of Warcraft and then alt tabbing then opening SC2 and it seems to work that way.

Anyone else with this problem?
Anyone know how to fix it?

I don't know what the heck is wrong with it.

I just updated my drivers and that didn't fix it.

heres my dxdiag

Airraid,

Try going to the Documents\Starcraft II Beta\variable.txt file and edit the displaymode setting to 0 as follows:
displaymode=0

Then try again.

Airraid,

Q u o t e:
I pressed ctrl f to search "displaymode" and it couldn't find it. I even tried looking for that manually and i couldn't it.

The text file in C:\Documents and Settings\Nathaniel\My Documents\StarCraft II Beta folder correct?

The text doesn't have anything like that in there.
Add that line in there if you can't find it. Then try again.
