Fullscreen/Mouse Freeze
by Shellshocker.xv | 24/03/2010 18:10:16![]() Upon installation, my cursor appeared to be frozen, but I was able to navigate to the Options menu and quickly switched to Windowed Mode (with an invisible cursor, as the apparent arrow was not moving), which was, I hope, a quick fix. I would like to be able to run in Fullscreen (not windowed mode), and use edges to navigate in-game play. I am unable to do this either in fullscreen nor windowed mode, as I cannot keep my taskbar from appearing in-game, also cutting off part of the screen, making it difficult to build, look at units selected, et cetra. I have tried moving the task bar around and using auto-hide, but with win7 it just pops back up when I use the edges to navigate, making movement painful and costly in units of time while playing. I do have a Logitech Webcam and have heard that this software has been causing problems, but have no seen evidence to support my uninstalling it, as I would like to avoid doing so. In addition, my Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 pops up everytime I load SC2, with the following message: "C:\...\VER Alongside the option to view a "detailed report". I have, of course, read others posts and tried to fix these problems for myself, but I have been unable. I have changed (lowered/toggled) settings in every way possible, changed the size of my Icons and Font in my browsers from Large/Largest to Medium and then to small. All of my drivers are updated. Tried disabling the Antivirus. I am not sure where to turn from here. There is an issue with our game and Windows 7 that will cause this issue if the game is played in full screen on a system using higher than normal DPI settings. The only way around this at this time is to lower the DPI settings for the OS or to play in a window. Technical support needs your feedback. As above, higher DPI settings for the user. Run in a window or lower the settings is the only way to resolve the issue. Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing: https:// |
by Charlesps | 30/04/2010 02:15:23![]() Currently you would need to drop it back down in order to play full screen but it might be a little trickier to fix considering it is affecting World of Warcraft as well and it is well past beta. But we have forwarded the issue along. Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing: https:// |
