Frame Rate

I have an Intel Dual 1.87GHz, 1GB RAM, and a GeForce 8400 GS (512MB).

I can start a game fine, and it plays with no problems. But in about 5 or so minutes, my frame rate is shot, and it's near impossible to play. I'm also wireless. I can't tell if it's just lag, or if it's my system.

I figured my system should be able to handle it fine.. guess not. What do I need to change? Everything? lol

Hello Nerdrage

Can you also post some information about your computer? You can find this information in the Direct X Diagnostic Tool:

Press the Windows Key and R
Type in: dxdiag
Hit Enter or OK

Click on the Save All Information button at the bottom, and create a dxdiag text file, and copy and paste the data from the dxdiag file into your reply.

I recommend updating your operating system so that you are using Service Pack 3 for Windows XP:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

I also recommend updating your video card drivers so that you are suing these:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_196.21_whql.html

Those are the most stable recent drivers we have found for our game.
