Alright then, it appears that we had another fun and feisty game. Results were mixed, but it came down like this:

6 people started the game. Two or three people bought it before we got to the PVP stages of the game. Out of the rest, there were three of us leveling faster than the group, which were me, a fire trapper, blackbelt 13 (i think), playing a fire paladin, and Lackey, playing a melee sin. Everyone else was very close behind Lackey, but my trapsin was leveling quite nicely, and the forumla paladin was doing what forumla pallys do best - kill everything in sight.

This is where things got rough. The pally managed somehow to suicide on some spear women in the Jail. Apparently it went fast, cuz he was gone lickety split. I didn't see it happen, but it was fortunate for me. After that, we were stuck in the Jail with my trap sin, the melee sin, and the druid. Lackey, the melee sin, came after me the entire time. Straight after me. Never looked around. The only time he stopped coming after me was when he wiped out the druid. Pretty linear.

Now we start with the flaming. Lackey apparently didnt' appreciate the fact that I was using wells. General ironman rules do not have duelist 'no shrine' / 'no well' rules. Those only apply after you kill Andy and go to the Blood Moore. Somebody may have even convinced some people not to well fight, though I haven't seen it, and generally keep up. In any case, we fought and fought, and when he had me low, I would slurp up a well, and boom, he was in trouble. Thing was, I got the wells first, and he was using pots like a madman. Also, he couldn't kill monsters, as he had no AOE attacks or block. Bottom line, he couldn't hardly level, and I was rolling through it.

So after he chugged his last pot, he quit. Then came the geek rage, and there was lots of it. Sore loser IMO. I take it as a win by default?

Anyways, this bring us to the issue: what are we doing with the ironman?

We have consistently had 6-8 guys for weeks. The play is getting more challenging all the time, which is good. We don't all suck now. With the exception of Lackey, we have been civil generally. That said, I have noted some discontent about it for 3 weeks now, and think maybe we need a change.

So:

1. I don't want Lackey around again. I am sick of his complaining. He has some ideas, and he is fast with the clicks, but he apparently doesn't communicate well. I say he is out, I want that decided.
2. We may consider getting some beefed out Hardcore players. If you want, I will load us all up. I will take Saturday afternoon, and make some trades, if that is a go. I have tons of FG, and can get more. I will get us all to hardcore A5 in strong form. Post your build and wish-list if you vote this.
3. We may consider playing ironman, but limiting it to 1 class. I am sick of the restrictions, but if we do only that, we can probably stay on track fairly well. If everyone has a MB druid, then good for you. Skill wins.
4. We take a break from Diablo for a week or two. We have a lot of inertia right now, which would be a waste, but I would consider going to Starcraft, Warcraft 3, or whatever. Though NOT WOW. I don't want to play WOW. Take that vote as firm for me.

And BASHIOK,

WTH with the temp ban? I may have to challenge your right to run Bartertown if you keep up that attitude. ALL that crap that we did in the past, and I get banned for spamming the ironman? Jip.

1. Is there a problem with you playing with us? Some rule or something?
2. If you come, do we need to play, not talk about games? I don't mind just playing, but I can't imagine not talking some about the game. You seem like you are here to keep up the interest in the forum, and spread the word. Seems weird not asking you about the game(s).
3. You know if you come, or even if we SAY you may come, we will have a ten-thousand man game. What do you think about that? Wouldn't take a second to hype it up HUGE... I would like to be the D3 forum regular game pimp.
4. And can we get those Starcraft2 keys or not? Frisky and I want to do some D3 forum regular SC2 action...
5. We could really use that Bashiok ear... would make the trading thing a lot easier to manage. We would be loaded for the foreseeable future.
