I'm a Malaysian experiencing what amounts to nearly unplayable latency (upwards of one second) which is utterly destroying me. I placed 5th Gold after my placement matches and have lost every single one of my eleven matches after placement because I cannot micro to save my life.

The question: Is this a common occurrence in beta atm? Is there a workaround in place (Asian servers, latency compensation, etc)? If the latency continues at this rate I will not be purchasing StarCraft 2 when it releases because the latency is just too poor...

I cannot imagine that the fine folks at Blizzard haven't thought of their Asian customers seeing how the game has a large Korean market. I do hope this is something that is beta specific and will be fixed upon release.

Also, serious sadface on 11 lose streak. ='(
