Disconnect problems :(
by Xbananasx | 20/02/2009 20:07:42 Hey there! Well the for the last month i have been troubled with a weird disconnect problem... I log in, get in a channel and start searching for a ladder game. Once i get in the game and start playing about halfway thru the game i get disconnected from Bnet. Here is where it is weird. I am still able to finish my game no problem. I can in-game chat still but i cant get any whispers and if i'm playing with a friend it shows that i have been disconnected from Bnet to them. Once the game is over and i leave the game it shows me the "You have been Disconnected to Bnet" Box. And i have to re log in to continue to play. i don't lose connection to the internet cause ventrillo still works and AIM. i have tried closing all other programs and playing but still get the same problem. i have also reinstalled the game to see if it would make any difference (no luck). When the command prompt comes up type in the following in succession, all without the quotes: "ipconfig /release" press Return "ipconfig /renew" press Return "ipconfig /flushdns" press Return 4. Close the DOS window and try WoW. For Vista: 1. Click Start, then Run. 2. Type in CMD. When you see the command prompt come up, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator." 3. When the window comes up, type in the following in succession, all without the quotes: "ipconfig /release" press Return "ipconfig /renew" press Return "ipconfig /flushdns" press Return 4. Close the DOS window and try WoW. For Mac OS X: 1. Navigate to /Applications/Utilit 2. Copy/Paste the following: For Leopard (10.5): dscacheutil -flushcache For Tiger (10.4) and Panther (10.3): lookupd -flushcache 3. Press return. The universe is already insane.
