Diablo2 Widescreen on Mac
by Squisher | 30/03/2010 22:27:10![]() Hello, I just bought a new Widescreen Display for my Mac Mini. The new 1.13 Patch should support widescreen display, shouldn't it? The problem is: the ingame image fills the whole screen and looks very fat and there are no black areas to the left/right of my screen as I would expect it. How can I make use of this new "blit scale" feature introduced? SquiSHeR |

1.13 does not provide any additional support for any kind of widescreen resolution. What we added in 1.13 was the ability to maximize the window on Windows platforms. Although we had indicated that widescreen users will be able to enjoy this feature, we did not mean to imply that there is native support for widescreen resolutions; the game still runs at either 800x600 or 640x480 depending on the video option you choose. The only difference is how large the area is that the image is drawn to (in this case the size of the window). No change was made to the way that the windowed mode is handled on Mac platforms.
