Diablo II was unable to connect to the realm

Trolloc

Hello.

For the past 2 days I was unable to load the character screen in Europe.
After I enter my username and password it gives my the following error message:

Q u o t e:
Diablo II was unable to connect to the realm server.
The realm you selected may be unavailable or you may be encountering connection issues.
Plase make sur your internet connection is working properly and/or your forewall has port 6112 opened.

It works fine on USWest and USEast, and I haven't done anything special to cause it (spamming / extensive logins and logouts or extensive joins to games)
I've tried connecting to several accounts as well as creating a new account.

I made sure the relevant ports are open on my firewall and router (TCP 4000,6112 in/out).

My tracert to Europe.battle.net seems fine to me, if it'll be of help please let me know the command that writes it to a file and I can post it here.

I've also tried refreshing my dns (release/renew/flushdns).
Tried reopening d2, restarting computer and router...

Using:
Windows 7
Windows Firewall
NOD32 4 Antivirus
Siemens router/modem

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex D

Hello Trolloc

Are you using a program like PeerGuardian? It can block specific IPs which will prevent access to one or more of our realms but not necessarily all of them.

Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing:
