Just about an hour ago I tried to Diablo II LOD for the first time all day. When I tried to log onto Battle.net I received the "Unable to Connect to Battle.net" error message. I tried all four gateways and none worked.

I also tried to play Starcraft on Battle.net but that did not work either. I tried all four gateways and received a "connection interrupted" message each time.

This has happened to me before, but I never use cheats or hacks or anything. It's really frustrating when I'd like to play on Battle.net and am unable for some unknown reason.

Someone on your network has been naughty and gotten your whole IP restricted.

Your connection has been temporarily restricted from Battle.net. This restriction is realm-specific and can last up to 2 weeks.

It can happen for any of the following reasons:
- Using an invalid CD key
- Rapidly connecting and disconnecting to Battle.net
- Creating or joining numerous games within a short time period such as "Magic finding" or "Baal runs"
- By the use of "add-on programs"
- Chat channel abuse
- Failed login attempts
- In game latency caused by excessive spell effects

We are unable to lift these restrictions early or tell exactly why the restriction was placed on your connection.

In many cases, particularly when it's not you that got the restriction placed, it's on all 4 realms and for all games.

Nope, that's fine, but it's going to be a few days before it lifts.
