Computer shuts down when idling in bnet
by Lucky.dyl | 06/04/2010 02:38:31![]() Hey, the topic title says it all.. I havent timed it at all but if I am looking at the ladder or chatting or looking at my profile within battle.net for longer than roughly 3 minutes, my entire computer shuts down. I have never crashed within a game and this seems to be a new problem since the latest patch. |
by Charlesps | 06/04/2010 02:40:45![]() Hello Lucky Some systems may reach high temperatures and overheating conditions while running StarCraft II. This is mainly due to the video card rendering the screens at full speed. As a workaround, there are two lines that you can add to your Documents\StarCraft II Beta\variables.txt file to limit this behavior. Frameratecapglue Frameratecap=60 The frameratecapglue controls the framerate at the menu screens. The frameratecap controls the framerate on all other screens. You may adjust these numbers to your liking Technical support needs your feedback. Please take the time to fill out a survey using the link below and tell me how I am doing: https:// |
