CD and Installing!
by Roodpart | 27/03/2009 22:38:50![]() Okay. I do not know whats going on with this but I would hate it if it was like with Diablo II... With Diablo II when you install the game it goes like this Install Disk Play disk Install Disk (Again) Cinematics Disk Install Disk (AGAIN!) Play Disk And then you install Diablo II LOD! LOD disk Install Disk Play Disk LOD Disk Thats Ten Steps to Down load a game... Way, WAY!!! To many! So My question is! WILL THIS BE FIXED IN DIABLO III?! I don't want to shuffle though a half a dozen disks to get the game installed.... It is very time consuming and troublesome to do... Tell me what you all think. And I hope to see a Blue icon next to this link sometime to answer this very important question. I do know that the game is not completed but I always hated going though the billion steps to down load the game after I Ghost my computer... |

Not helpful for the lengthy swap-heavy installation though of course. If swapping discs is too much for you, you can create a new Battle.net account - http://w Once you attach your Diablo II and LoD cd-keys to your account you can download the game. There's of course the time to initially download, but you should be able to backup the installation files it creates for any future re-installs. That could help. I'd bet that with the precedent (for Blizzard games) of Wrath of Lich King being available only on DVD, Diablo III won't ship on CD's. :) [ Post edited by Bashiok ] let your mind spin, the burden of logic and truth |

Follow the patch notes for instructions to ensure all the necessary files are copied to your hard drive. http://u The 26 digit key is created after registering Diablo II or StarCraft. You can view the 26 digit keys in your Battle.net account after logging in and clicking on the Diablo II and LoD "manage game" images. This longer key is required for the downloaded installation, and is always available from your Battle.net account management page.
